Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager to spearhead complex software implementation projects from its Gauteng hub in Tembisa. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive project management, software implementation focus.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent software projects/teams.
• PMP/PRINCE2/Agile/Scrum Master is desirable.
• Deep understanding of SDLC and management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
• ERP/CRM implementations experience is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiar with Gauteng business landscape.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria with senior management and stakeholders.
• Create detailed project plans, schedules and budgets aligned to goals and resources.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on software implementation and IT projects.
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent software projects and teams.
• Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or customer relationship management (CRM) implementations is a significant advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the local business landscape in Gauteng .
