Job summary

Hitachi Energy South Africa (Pty) Ltd invites an experienced Project Manager to lead complex HV projects, focusing on cost, schedule and quality. You will coordinate multi-discipline teams, manage supplier relations, and ensure ISO compliance while delivering on contractual requirements.

You will apply advanced project management practices, guide junior professionals, and drive project closure with strong communication to customers and stakeholders in a dynamic energy environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical/ Power Engineering.
• 7+ years experience in project management for power grids, substations and transformers.
• PMP certification and SAP knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedules, and risk management.
• Monitor progress, resources and budget including costs and invoicing.
• Coordinate with engineering, service and commissioning teams for HV installations.
