Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of complex power systems, including generation, transmission, and distribution.
• Develop and manage specifications for power systems, substations, and grid interconnections.
• Perform detailed power flow, short circuit, and stability analyses using industry-standard software.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies for renewable energy integration and energy storage solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of power systems engineers working remotely.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies, utilities, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and project approvals.
• Develop project proposals, cost estimates, and execution plans.
• Oversee the commissioning and testing of power system installations.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the power systems engineering field.
• Contribute to strategic planning for future power infrastructure development.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in power systems engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior technical role.
• Expertise in power system simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD).
• Deep understanding of power system stability, dynamics, and control.
• Proven experience with renewable energy systems (solar, wind) and energy storage technologies.
