About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of power system projects, from initial concept and feasibility studies to detailed design, implementation, and commissioning.
• Develop and validate complex power system models and simulations to predict performance, identify potential issues, and optimize designs.
• Lead the technical aspects of grid interconnection studies, load flow analysis, short circuit calculations, and stability assessments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and regulatory bodies to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to a team of power systems engineers.
• Conduct site visits and technical reviews as required for project oversight and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and technologies within the power systems domain.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• 10+ years of experience in power systems engineering, with a proven track record in renewable energy integration or utility-scale projects.
• In-depth knowledge of power system analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD).
• Solid understanding of AC/DC systems, grid codes, protection schemes, and power electronics.
• Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex technical projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to present complex technical information clearly.
• Ability to work effectively in both remote and in-office settings.
