Placements24 in Cape Town, Western Cape, seeks an experienced Lead Pediatric Nanny & Educational Specialist to design and implement tailored educational programs and provide high-quality in-home childcare. The role blends hands-on care with remote coordination of strategies, fostering growth through structured activities and progress reporting.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in pediatric nannying or early childhood education, formal ECE qualifications, and strong skills in curriculum

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in pediatric nannying or early childhood education.
• Formal qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Ability to create and implement engaging educational plans.
• Excellent understanding of child psychology and developmental milestones.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver a comprehensive, individualized educational curriculum for children.
• Provide attentive, nurturing, and safe childcare during scheduled hours.
• Conduct developmental assessments and create progress reports for parents.
• Organize and lead stimulating indoor and outdoor activities, fostering cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Manage daily routines including feeding, hygiene, and sleep schedules.
• Collaborate with parents remotely to set developmental goals and discuss progress.
• Maintain a stimulating and organized learning environment.
• Ensure the overall health, safety, and well-being of the children.
• Plan and coordinate age-appropriate outings and educational experiences.
• Communicate proactively with parents about children's development and daily activities.
