About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Mechanical Engineer to spearhead key engineering initiatives in Tembisa. This pivotal role involves guiding the design, development, and optimization of complex mechanical systems, ensuring they meet stringent performance and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the mechanical engineering design process from concept through to production, overseeing all technical aspects.
• Develop and refine engineering designs, prototypes, and manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of mechanical systems, including finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD), to predict and improve performance.
• Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and support.
• Collaborate closely with other departments, such as manufacturing, quality assurance, and product management, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality management systems.

Requirements
