About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Instructional Designer to spearhead their curriculum development initiatives in Durban . In this leadership role, you will guide a team of instructional designers and collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create cutting-edge learning experiences. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for instructional design, ensuring the highest quality of educational content across various platforms, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the team. This position requires a blend of strong pedagogical understanding, technical proficiency, and leadership acumen to drive impactful learning solutions for our client's diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of instructional designers, fostering professional growth and high performance.
• Develop and implement instructional design strategies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
• Oversee the end-to-end design and development of engaging and effective learning solutions, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and blended programs.
• Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and translate them into measurable learning outcomes.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of all training materials and curricula developed by the team.

Requirements
