Job summary

Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Production & Electrical Maintenance Supervisor for Riverhorse Valley, Durban. You will oversee production operations across two plants, manage factory staff and maintain electrical and automated equipment to minimise downtime and hit daily targets.

You will diagnose faults, troubleshoot PLCs/VFDs, and lead preventative maintenance while coaching a team of operators and maintenance personnel. Strong leadership and ownership are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical trade qualification or recognised industrial electrical maintenance qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills in electrical systems.
• Experience with three-phase motors, VFDs, PLCs, sensors and control circuits.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, encoders and motor control circuits.
• Maintain electrical panels, motors, conveyors and automated packing equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and identify recurring faults.
• Respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain plant reliability.
• Oversee daily production across two manufacturing plants and supervise staff.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimise interruptions and improve productivity.
