Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Cleaning Supervisor in Centurion to lead cleaning operations, coordinate staff, and ensure high hygiene and safety standards in industrial settings.

You will oversee daily activities, develop schedules, train staff, manage supplies and inventory, and enforce safety protocols for hazardous materials and heavy equipment. The role requires strong leadership and commitment to operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in industrial cleaning supervision or a similar leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial cleaning processes, equipment, and chemicals.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in industrial contexts.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a team effectively and motivate staff.
• Experience with inventory management and basic budgeting.
• Proficiency in using industrial cleaning machinery.
• Flexibility to work occasional non-standard hours.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Centurion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the industrial cleaning team.
• Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures for industrial sites.
• Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate cleaning staff performance.
• Manage cleaning supplies, equipment, and inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address cleaning and safety concerns.
• Liaise with site managers and other stakeholders to ensure cleaning needs are met.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning operations, staff activities, and equipment maintenance.
• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols for handling hazardous materials and operating heavy machinery.
