You will guide a distributed team, shape control systems (SCADA/EMS/DMS), analyze reliability data, and collaborate with regulators to ensure best practices in modernization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with power systems specialization.
• 10+ years in power systems engineering, with 5+ years in grid modernization and smart grid tech.
• Proven track record leading complex engineering projects from inception to deployment.
• Deep knowledge of grid operations, protection, and control strategies.
• Experience with analytics, AI/ML in grid management and cybersecurity for critical infra.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Lead Grid Modernization Engineer to drive the transformation of our electrical grid infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for grid modernization, focusing on smart grid technologies, automation, and distributed energy resources (DERs).
• Lead the design and implementation of advanced grid control systems, including SCADA, EMS, and DMS.
• Analyze grid performance data to identify areas for improvement in reliability, efficiency, and stability.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies and industry partners to ensure compliance and adopt best practices in grid modernization.
• Oversee the integration of renewable energy sources and energy storage systems into the existing grid infrastructure.
