Placements24 is recruiting a Senior Electrical Grid Engineer for a fully remote role, focusing on grid planning, analysis, and renewable integration to modernize power systems. You’ll collaborate with a distributed team to design and implement solutions that improve grid reliability, capacity and efficiency, and mentor junior engineers.

• 8+ years of professional experience in electrical grid engineering and power system analysis.

• Strong knowledge of grid codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex power flow, short circuit, and stability analyses for high-voltage systems.
• Develop grid expansion plans and upgrade strategies for new generation and load.
• Design and specify grid-connected systems including substations and lines.
• Collaborate with renewable energy developers to integrate solar, wind, and storage.
• Troubleshoot grid operations and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
