Placements24 is assisting a prestigious golf estate in Stellenbosch, Western Cape with the recruitment of a Senior Golf Professional and Academy Director. The role leads the golf academy, curriculum, coaching services, junior development and member experiences.

The ideal candidate is a PGA-qualified professional with 8–10 years of coaching and academy management, strong leadership, budget discipline, and a passion for elevating the game in a world-class setting.

Qualifications

• PGA membership in good standing is required.
• Minimum 8–10 years in golf coaching and academy management.
• Proven experience developing junior golf programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the comprehensive golf academy program for all skill levels.
• Provide elite coaching using swing analysis technology and personalized training plans.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of coaching staff.
• Manage the academy budget and ensure financial targets are met.
• Drive business development through member engagement and partnerships.
• Organize and run clinics, workshops, tournaments and junior camps.
• Ensure highest standards of customer service and member satisfaction for academy activities.
• Collaborate with club management to enhance the overall golf experience for members and guests.
• Stay current with trends in golf instruction, tech, and player development.
• Maintain relationships with golf governing bodies and industry associations.
