Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Catering Manager with an events focus to lead our George operations. You will plan, price, and execute high-profile catering events, coordinating with clients and on-site teams to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.

This role requires strong leadership, menu development skills, and the ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships, ensuring profitability and flawless service from concept to wrap-up.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Catering Manager or Event Manager in a busy catering or hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of event planning, food and beverage management, and logistics.
• Excellent client management and communication skills, with a talent for building rapport.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.

Responsabilités

• Manage all aspects of event catering, including client consultations, menu planning, and proposal generation.
• Oversee event execution, ensuring timely and accurate setup, service, and breakdown of all catering operations.
• Develop and manage budgets for each event, ensuring profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Lead, train, and supervise catering staff, ensuring professional presentation and exceptional customer service.
• Source and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Address client concerns and resolve any issues that arise during events promptly and professionally.
