Placements24 is seeking a Lead Electrical Systems Integrator in Tembisa, Gauteng to spearhead industrial automation projects. You will design, implement, and optimize complex electrical and control systems, integrating PLCs, SCADA, and HMIs for large-scale applications.

The ideal candidate has a B.Eng or M.Eng in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience, strong leadership, and a track record delivering complex integration from concept to completion. Pr.Eng registration is advantageous.

Qualifications

• B.Eng or M.Eng in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• ≥8 years of experience in electrical systems integration or industrial automation.
• Experience with Siemens and Rockwell PLC programming, SCADA, and HMI development.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell Automation), SCADA systems, and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
• Proven track record of leading complex integration projects from conception to completion.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and hazardous area classifications.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration with ECSA is a significant advantage.
