Job summary

RPO Recruitment’s client in Centurion seeks a Lead Engineer to spearhead electrical infrastructure projects in the mining, power & energy, and water & wastewater sectors. Based in Centurion, you will oversee design and delivery from inception through close-out.

The role requires 10–15 years in overhead power line designs, substation design experience, NEC-3 knowledge, and PLS-CADD proficiency; professional registration with ECSA is advantageous, with a negotiable salary.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in overhead power line designs.
• Strong knowledge of NEC-3 and high voltage transmission line design (132kV–765kV).
• Experience in substation design and construction supervision.
• Professional registration with ECSA as Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of projects from inception to close-out (Stage 1 to Stage 6).
