Placements24 is seeking a Commercial Design Architect for a Vereeniging-based role. You will lead design initiatives for large-scale commercial projects, from concept through construction administration, shaping the commercial landscape of Gauteng.

Qualifications

Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
SACAP registration is mandatory.
9+ years experience in commercial architectural practice.
Proven track record delivering complex commercial developments.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; 3D modeling tools.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of commercial architectural projects (office, retail, mixed-use).
Create design concepts aligned with client objectives and market trends.
Produce design documentation including floor plans, elevations, sections, and specs.
Collaborate with clients, developers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage timelines and budgets for efficient delivery of developments.
Ensure designs comply with codes, zoning, and accessibility standards.
Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies.
