Job summary

ENsync Engineers seeks an experienced Professional Civil Engineer (Pr Eng) to join the Cape Town team at Principal level. The role focuses on municipal infrastructure, building-related civil engineering, and leading multidisciplinary projects in a client-facing capacity.

Qualifications

• Pr Eng with ECSA registration is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
• 8+ years of consulting engineering experience or equivalent.
• Strong ability to lead projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in design and delivery of civil infrastructure for buildings, developments and municipal projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the civil engineering design and delivery of building development and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Develop and review civil engineering designs from feasibility to construction.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, technologists and BIM/CAD personnel.
• Drive BIM and Civil 3D-based project delivery and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Undertake technical reviews, design verification and quality assurance.
• Manage project deliverables, programmes, budgets and technical resources.
• Liaise with clients, municipalities, approving authorities and other consultants.
• Support tender preparation, fee proposals and project pursuits.
• Provide construction-stage technical support and site inspections as required.
