Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Lead BIM Coordinator to direct the BIM strategy across a portfolio of complex projects. This fully remote role empowers you to lead a distributed team, establish standards, and drive data management and collaboration across all design and construction stages.

You will champion BEPs, coordinate multi-disciplinary models, and mentor project teams to deliver accurate drawings, schedules, and reports using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of BIM coordination and management experience, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and other BIM software.
• Strong BEPs understanding and multidisciplinary coordination abilities.
• Excellent remote leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enforce BIM standards, workflows, and protocols across projects.
• Coordinate BIM models across disciplines, ensuring clash detection and resolution.
• Provide technical support and training on BIM software and processes.
• Lead coordination meetings and facilitate cross-team communication.
• Manage BIM content libraries and the generation of drawings and reports from models.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and technically adept Lead BIM Coordinator to spearhead their BIM strategy and execution for a portfolio of complex projects. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while leading a distributed team. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining BIM standards, workflows, and best practices across all project phases, ensuring seamless collaboration and data management. This role is critical for driving efficiency and innovation in how projects are designed, documented, and delivered, contributing significantly to the company's digital transformation goals in the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards , protocols, and workflows across all projects.


• Manage and coordinate BIM models from various disciplines, ensuring clash detection and resolution.


• Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and processes.


• Lead the coordination meetings and facilitate communication between design and construction teams.


• Oversee the creation and maintenance of BIM content libraries and templates.


• Ensure the accurate generation of drawings, schedules, and reports from BIM models.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (7+ years) in BIM coordination and management, with at least 3 years in a lead role.


• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit , Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software.


• Deep understanding of BIM execution plans (BEPs) and project delivery methods.


• Proven ability to manage and coordinate complex multi-disciplinary BIM models.


• Strong knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, particularly in a remote team setting.
