Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead BIM Architect to drive BIM strategy across projects in Centurion. You will lead a dedicated BIM team, ensuring excellent data integrity and seamless BIM integration throughout all design and construction stages.

The role requires a professional Architect with at least 10 years of BIM leadership experience and expertise in Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

• Expert proficiency in BIM workflows, standards and technology.

This senior role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of BIM workflows, standards, and technologies to enhance design and construction processes. You will lead a dedicated BIM team, championing best practices and ensuring seamless integration of BIM across all project stages. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's BIM strategy and standards across all projects.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the BIM coordination team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the creation and management of complex BIM models , ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to facilitate effective BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Provide technical expertise and training on BIM software and workflows to internal staff.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in BIM technology and recommend adoption of new tools and processes.

Requirements

• Professional Architect qualification with a minimum of 10 years of experience, including significant experience in a BIM leadership role.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and a strong understanding of Navisworks, BIM 360, and other relevant BIM software.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and company-wide BIM standards.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding of the architectural design and construction process.
• Experience with parametric design and computational design tools is a plus.
