About the Role

Our client is seeking an expert Architectural BIM Manager to oversee Building Information Modeling strategies and implementation across their diverse portfolio of projects, operating from their prestigious Sandton office. This critical role involves establishing and enforcing BIM standards, managing BIM models, and providing technical support to design and construction teams. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration through advanced BIM workflows. We are looking for a technically proficient and forward-thinking individual who can champion BIM adoption and best practices within a leading architectural firm in Gauteng.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement company-wide BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
• Manage and coordinate architectural BIM models for complex projects.
• Provide training and technical support to architects and technicians on BIM software and processes.
• Ensure data integrity and clash detection within BIM models.
• Collaborate with consultants to ensure seamless BIM integration across disciplines.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in BIM technology and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in BIM coordination and management.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, with a strong understanding of other BIM tools.
• In-depth knowledge of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and best practices.
• Experience with computational design and scripting is advantageous.
