Qualifications

• Qualified Automotive Technician (Trade Test Certificate).
• Official Brand Certification as a Diagnostic Technician or Master Technician.
• Experience in a supervisory role within a franchised dealership.
• Strong understanding of advanced vehicle electronics and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workshop operations, assigning jobs to technicians to optimize productivity and workflow.
• Perform complex vehicle diagnostics, quality checks, and technical sign-offs on completed repairs.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians and apprentices on advanced repair techniques.
• Enforce manufacturer technical standards, warranty requirements, and health and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors and the Workshop Manager to manage customer expectations and resolve technical escalations.
