Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Workshop Foreman, Senior Technician, Team Leader or Assistant Workshop Controller role.
• Strong diagnostic and automotive knowledge with hands-on experience.
• Proven ability to supervise and motivate a team of technicians.
• Technician qualification – Red Seal.
• Knowledge of workshop administration and job card processes.
• Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with day-to-day control and coordination of workshop activities.
• Allocating work to technicians and apprentices.
• Monitoring repair quality and standards compliance.
• Maximising workshop productivity and labour utilisation.
• Recording parts, materials and consumables for invoicing.
• Tracking job progress and ensuring efficient turnaround times.
• Coaching and training to develop technicians.
• Maintaining workshop discipline and safety compliance.
