You will lead technical design, manage junior staff, and coordinate with clients and authorities to ensure compliance and quality.

Your background includes 8+ years in commercial/retail projects, SACAP Pr.Tech.Arch registration, and strong CAD/BIM skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as Architectural Technologist in commercial/retail designs.
• SACAP registration as Pr.Tech.Arch or equivalent is essential.
• Experience producing construction documentation and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drawings, docs, and specifications for commercial/retail projects.
• Coordinate junior technologists and technicians.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and regulators during the project lifecycle.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes and regulations.
• Conduct site visits and monitor progress to maintain design intent.
• Manage project documentation and site instructions.
• Utilize CAD/BIM software for design development.
