Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a finance leader to report the financial performance of a dedicated business unit in line with IFRS. You will oversee accountants, ensure accuracy and integrity of records, and support internal and external audits.

You will lead cash flow planning, analyse weekly accounts, manage stock counts, and drive the annual budgeting process. A FMCG background plus 2–3 years supervisory accounting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• IFRS-compliant financial record keeping
• Experience supervising accounting/admin staff
• FMCG/Manufacturing background preferred

Responsibilities

• Report financial performance of a selected business unit in accordance with IFRS.
• Provide oversight of the activities and performance of the accountants in your team.
• Assist internal and external auditors with information and feedback requested.
• Lead control and monitor the functions of all admin staff.
• Analyse weekly financial accounts and plan cash flow.
• Review debtors aging ledger and reconcile stock movements weekly.
• Compile annual budgets and year-end accounts.
• Implement financial standards, policies and internal controls.
