Job summary

Tiger Brands in Sasolburg is looking for an experienced accountant to review, analyze and report on bakery trading results, and to implement robust financial controls. You will support the Bakery Manager with budgeting, journals, reconciliations and cash flow planning, while ensuring compliance with internal standards.

Applicants should hold a CA qualification, have 2–3 years accounting experience in FMCG or manufacturing, and be proficient with Word, Excel and Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and report on trading results of the bakery and make recommendations to the Bakery Manager.
• Ensure Financial Standards, Policies and Procedures and Internal Controls are adhered to.
• Manage weekly and monthly financial accounts, budgeting and balance sheet control accounts.
• Process monthly journals, prepare reconciliations and cost analysis.
• Assist auditors with information and ensure internal controls are applied.
