Stellenbosch Hotel is seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our on-site team in Stellenbosch. The role focuses on cleaning, pressing, and maintaining linen, towels, and other laundry items to high hygiene and quality standards.

You will work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, and contribute to timely delivery of clean laundry to all departments. Prior laundry experience at a 4/5* level is preferred.

Formación

• Grade 11 education.
• Clean criminal record.
• Basic cleaning/laundry operation knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Provide reliable daily laundry service; ensure linen, towels and laundry items are cleaned, pressed, and maintained to high hygiene standards.
• Deliver clean laundry to all departments on time and communicate any issues to housekeeping.

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing a reliable and efficient daily laundry service, ensuring that all linen, towels, and other laundry items are cleaned, neatly pressed, properly maintained, and free from damage. The role ensures that clean laundry is delivered timeously to all relevant departments, while maintaining high standards of hygiene, quality, and attention to detail throughout the laundry process.

Requirements:

• Grade 11
• Clean criminal record
• Basic cleaning/laundry operation knowledge
• Previous laundry experience at 4/5* level in the same or similar position
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
