Job summary

The Vineyard, Oude Werf and Stellenbosch Hotels by Petousis invites applications for a Laundry Attendant at our Stellenbosch property. The role ensures clean, pressed linens and towels are delivered promptly to all departments, maintaining hygiene and quality standards.

We seek candidates with basic laundry knowledge, a clean criminal record, and the ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Grade 11 education is a minimum requirement. Permanent contract offered.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry experience at 4/5* level preferred.
• Clean criminal record is required.
• Basic cleaning and laundry operation knowledge required.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure linen, towels and laundry items are cleaned, pressed, and delivered on time.
• Maintain hygiene and quality throughout the laundry process.

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing a reliable and efficient daily laundry service, ensuring that all linen, towels, and other laundry items are cleaned, neatly pressed, properly maintained, and free from damage. The role ensures that clean laundry is delivered timeously to all relevant departments, while maintaining high standards of hygiene, quality, and attention to detail throughout the laundry process.
