Job summary

On Line Personnel seeks a Product Readiness Engineer for the automotive sector in PE/Gqeberha. You will oversee local service information, validate data with stakeholders, and ensure timely publication for new models and updates.

The role requires a relevant engineering qualification and at least 3 years in automotive product support, with strong analytical and documentation skills and ability to manage deadlines under pressure.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent automotive qualification.
• 3+ years post-graduate automotive engineering experience including diagnostics and problem solving.
• Experience in automotive product support and new model introductions, including issue investigation and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain localized service information for SA market.
• Validate technical information with stakeholders and publish within launch targets.
• Assess changes and new model launches ensuring updates are delivered on time.
• Monitor content quality via dealer feedback and continuous improvement.
• Resolve dealer technical issues and service information gaps with corrective actions.
• Develop market-specific service literature and in-vehicle information for accuracy and launch readiness.
• Support cost reduction and customer satisfaction through accurate repair information.
• Coordinate special tool and equipment needs for dealer readiness.
