Pedros Chicken in Krugersdorp is opening a brand-new store and seeks a dedicated Chicken Prepper to join the launch team. You will prepare, marinate and bread chicken to our standards while helping keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Formación

• Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous
• Ability to follow recipes and SOPs consistently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, clean, cut, and portion chicken according to specifications
• Marinate, season, and bread chicken following recipes and procedures
• Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards when handling raw chicken
• Rotate stock using FIFO to ensure freshness and reduce waste
• Store raw chicken safely at correct temperatures
• Keep prep area and equipment clean and organized at all times
• Assist cooks and team during busy periods
• Follow operational standards and health and safety regulations
• Report stock shortages or equipment issues to supervisor/manager
