Job summary

AGL Group in Durban, South Africa seeks a Warehouse Manager for the KZN region to lead end-to-end warehousing and distribution. You will oversee inventory control, staff supervision, safety compliance, and coordination with transport partners to ensure timely order fulfilment.

The role demands extensive experience in warehousing, strong leadership, and a solid track record with WMS systems, HACCP/ISO standards, and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• A logistics/supply chain degree is required.
• 5+ years of experience with WMS systems.
• 10+ years of warehousing and logistics experience.
• Experience with food safety and auditing.
• Strong leadership and staff management skills.

Responsibilities

• Full end-to-end management of warehousing and distribution activities in the KZN region.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, hygiene and food safety regulations.
• Oversee inventory accuracy and warehouse operations to meet orders and SLAs.
• Manage warehousing staff, including scheduling, coaching and performance reviews.
• Coordinate with transport and third-party providers for inbound/outbound logistics.
• Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
