Job summary

Sonata One is a rapidly scaling fintech service provider delivering private funds clearinghouse solutions globally. We seek an experienced KYC Analyst – Managed Services to review KYC profiles, address practices questions, and maintain strong client relationships within a 14:00–22:00 shift.

The role emphasizes collaboration with MLRO and senior colleagues, adherence to defined processes, and continuous improvement of KYC services for our private funds clients.

Qualifications

• Experience working with internal or external clients.
• Knowledge of KYC/Due Diligence and complex fund structures.
• Finance industry experience is advantageous.
• Ability to process reviews accurately and efficiently.
• Strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Review KYC Profiles in collaboration with the MLRO and senior colleagues.
• Ensure that activity follows a defined process and is undertaken within its parameters.
• Build and maintain excellent client relationships ensuring smooth delivery of the Managed KYC service.
• Confidently address questions on the scope of KYC provided to clients.
• Engage in regular communications with service users to ensure successful client outcomes.

We are now looking to recruit an experienced KYC Analyst – Managed Services (Late) to join our global team.

Hours: 14h00 – 22h00

Position Overview:

The KYC Analyst – Managed Services is responsible for the review of KYC profiles, addressing questions relating to KYC practices and requirements and maintain excellent client relationships.

Responsibilities:

People

• Actively encourage a positive culture of continuous improvement through new ideas.
• Be collaborative, approachable and respectful with your team members and all IDR staff.
• Interact with clients, lawyers, investors, and administrators effectively and professionally.

Process

• Perform reviews of KYC Profiles in collaboration with the MLRO and senior colleagues.
• Ensure that all activity reflects a defined process and is undertaken within its parameters
• Build and maintain excellent client relationships ensuring smooth delivery of the Managed KYC service
• Confidently address questions on the standard and scope of KYC provided to parties on behalf of our clients
• Engage in regular communications with service users to ensure successful client outcomes

The System

• Maximize the use of technology in all processes in order to control risk and improve efficiency
• Navigate efficiently around IDR in support of your duties
• Suggest technology improvements in pursuit of efficiency

Qualifications:

• Experience working with internal or external clients
• Knowledge of KYC/ Due Diligence and an understanding of complex structures in the Fund world.
• Prior experience in the Finance Industry advantageous
• The Ability to efficiently and accurately process reviews
• Understand the importance of teamwork
• Be part of a competent and knowledgeable team who meet or exceed clear metrics
• Continuously improve systems and processes that are understood by all staff
• Excellent communication skills - Fluent spoken and written English
• Methodical approach, with an organised outlook on work and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• An understanding both systems and process

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s degree level qualification in law (desired)
