Qualifications

• Previous experience as a sculler, kitchen steward, or cleaner in a hotel/restaurant preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning practices and food safety principles.
• Physically fit for a high-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitise crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils according to hygiene standards.
• Keep scullery areas, sinks, floors, and equipment clean, dry, and hazard-free at all times.
• Assist chefs and cooks by ensuring a steady supply of clean tools and utensils during service.
• Properly separate and dispose of waste, recyclables, and food scraps in line with hotel procedures.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and machinery responsibly, ensuring correct usage and storage.
• Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials and assist with restocking crockery and utensils where needed.
• Follow all hygiene, health, and safety protocols, including PPE and temperature control guidelines.
• Work cooperatively with kitchen and service teams to support smooth operations during peak hours.
• Report damaged items, maintenance issues, or shortages immediately to supervisors.
• Represent Pepperclub with reliability, respect, and commitment to excellence - even in back-of-house duties.
