As a Junior UI/UX Designer, you will support the design and software development teams in creating user-centered digital products. Working alongside senior team members and developers, you will learn and apply design principles to turn client goals into clear, functional interfaces. Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering Support: Assist senior designers and project managers in gathering user requirements and understanding client project goals.
• Design Deliverables: Create wireframes, user flows, visual mock-ups, and basic interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas and interface layouts.
• Client & Brand Alignment: Ensure all visual assets and wireframes align with specified client requirements, brand guidelines, and functional scope.
• User Research Assistance: Support research activities, such as taking notes during user interviews, setting up usability testing materials, and organizing participant feedback.
• Design System Application: Utilize and maintain existing design systems, component libraries, and style guides to ensure interface consistency across software applications.
• UI & Accessibility Fundamentals: Craft visual interface elements applying fundamental best practices in visual hierarchy, usability, and basic web accessibility standards.
• Iterative Design: Receive and incorporate feedback from team leads, peers, and client reviews to refine design solutions while adhering to project deadlines.
• Developer Collaboration & Handoff: Work closely with front-end developers to prepare UI asset handoffs, inspect developed interfaces for visual fidelity (Design QA), and address layout adjustments.
• Continuous Growth & Skill Building: Actively keep up with emerging software trends, design software updates (e.g., Figma), and UX methodologies to develop your craft.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of practical UI/UX design experience (inclusive of internships, agency experience, or client project work).
• Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating foundational UX process knowledge, wireframing, UI execution, and basic prototyping.
• Tools: Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Technical Understanding: Basic awareness of front-end capabilities (HTML/CSS) to understand how designs are translated into software.
• Soft Skills: Openness to receiving creative direction, strong attention to detail, and good verbal and written communication skills.
