About the Role

Our client, a progressive architectural studio located in Centurion, Gauteng , is actively seeking a passionate Junior Sustainable Design Architect to join their dedicated team. You will work closely with senior architects and sustainability consultants to integrate eco-friendly strategies into the design process, from concept development to construction documentation. Key Responsibilities

Assist in the research and application of sustainable design strategies and materials. Support the development of building performance simulations and analysis (e.g., energy modeling, daylight analysis). Prepare documentation and drawings that illustrate sustainable design features. Collaborate with project teams to ensure sustainability goals are met throughout the design process. Participate in client meetings to present sustainable design concepts. Stay updated on green building rating systems (e.g., Green Star, LEED) and relevant regulations. Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports and documentation for project submissions. Help to conduct site analysis with a focus on environmental factors. Contribute to the firm's internal knowledge base on sustainable design practices.

Requirements
