Job description

Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Inventory & Planning Coordinator to join their growing Product team.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring product availability, inventory accuracy, production planning efficiency, and smooth supply chain operations. Working closely with procurement, warehousing, suppliers, production teams, and internal stakeholders, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating demand planning, stock replenishment, raw material analysis, inventory monitoring, supplier performance tracking, and operational reporting.

Role Purpose

To execute reliable demand and supply planning activities including production scheduling, inventory replenishment, stock risk monitoring, supplier coordination, inbound logistics support, and master data maintenance. The role ensures optimal stock availability, accurate planning data, effective inventory management, and seamless operational execution across the business.

Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Inventory Management
  • Execute daily production scheduling activities.
  • Coordinate daily stock replenishment across warehouse locations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify stock risks proactively.
  • Track new product inventory performance and availability.
  • Manage finished goods stock visibility and replenishment requirements.
  • Flag potential stock‑outs, overstocks, and inventory risks.
Supply Planning & Procurement Support
  • Conduct weekly raw material requirement analysis.
  • Monitor safety stock levels and identify supply risks.
  • Escalate potential shortages and overstock situations.
  • Support purchasing planning activities through accurate inventory reporting.
  • Assist with purchase order tracking and supplier follow‑up.
Customs, Logistics & Supplier Coordination
  • Support customs clearing processes and documentation.
  • Track inbound shipments, deliveries, and container movements.
  • Coordinate transport collections and supplier deliveries.
  • Monitor supplier performance against OTIF and SLA requirements.
  • Assist in resolving supplier‑related delivery issues.
Master Data & System Administration
  • Create and maintain product codes and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Ensure master data accuracy across planning systems.
  • Maintain inventory and planning records.
  • Update and manage operational KPI trackers.
Inventory Risk & Reporting
  • Monitor stock health and inventory performance.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly planning reports.
  • Maintain supplier performance logs and inbound trackers.
  • Ensure planning documentation remains accurate and current.
  • Support operational decision‑making through data analysis and reporting.
Project & Promotional Kit Coordination
  • Coordinate promotional packs, event kits, and outsourced projects.
  • Conduct quality checks on kit components and assembly requirements.
  • Reconcile project stock and documentation.
  • Ensure timely delivery of promotional and event‑related materials.
