Job summary

Burnt Studios PTY is seeking a Mid-Level Store Manager for Cavendish at Village Walk to lead a high-turnover retail location and drive sales and team performance.

You will coach a diverse team, maintain brand standards, optimize operations, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while upholding Burnt Studios' values and growth aspirations in South Africa.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of managerial experience in fast-paced retail environments.
• Diploma or Degree in Retail Management, Organisational Psychology, Operations, Business Management or related field.

Mid-Level Store Manager – Cavendish

Village Walk is one of our high-turnover stores, and we are looking for a strong, experienced retail leader who is ready to take ownership of its continued success.

As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, driving strong commercial results, and ensuring that the store consistently operates at the highest standard. This role requires someone who is competitive and performance-driven, but equally committed to creating a positive, supportive, and motivating environment where people can thrive.

You will need to be a leader who can set ambitious standards, inspire others to reach them, and remain hands-on when the pace gets demanding. We are looking for someone who understands that great results come from great people and knows how to bring out the best in a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the store’s performance, driving sales, productivity, and commercial results.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while maintaining a strong and healthy store culture.

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure that customer service, visual standards, stock management, and operational processes remain consistently high.

Experience & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of managerial experience, preferably within a fast-paced retail environment.

• Strong track record of driving sales and achieving commercial targets.
• Experience managing a high-volume or high-turnover retail environment will be highly advantageous.
• A relevant Diploma or Degree in Retail Business Management, Organisational Psychology, Operations, Business Management, or a related field will be advantageous.
