Responsibilities

• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Identify slow-moving or excess stock and make recommendations for clearance or reordering.
• Ensure that all stock is stored and handled in a safe and organized manner.
• Generate reports on stock levels and provide analysis and recommendations to management.
• Assist with the implementation of inventory management systems and processes.
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve any stock-related issues.
• Monitor and track product expiry dates and coordinate with the sales team for timely sales.
• Assist with the preparation of purchase orders and invoices.

Job Overview

As a Junior Stock Controller, you will be responsible for managing the inventory levels of our products. You will work closely with the purchasing and sales teams to ensure that our stock levels are maintained at optimal levels to meet customer demand. This is a full-time position based in our Durban office.
