Talent Recruitment & Consulting (Pty) Ltd seeks a proactive sales professional to build a pipeline in the solar PV and BESS sectors across commercial, industrial and agricultural clients in Southern Africa. You will drive opportunities from initial contact through to signed contracts, while managing a robust referral network and field visits.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of B2B sales, knowledge of solar/BESS, strong numeracy and proficiency with CRM systems.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of B2B sales with a proven closing record.

Responsabilités

• Prospect and open new commercial, industrial and agricultural solar PV and BESS opportunities up to R10m.
• Build and maintain a referral network of electrical contractors, Agri advisers and industry contacts.
• Qualify each opportunity on client problem, electricity bills, load profile, decisionmaker, timing and funding route (capex, rental or PPA).
• Complete site surveys and compile the data pack required by Presales.
• Present every proposal in person, leading with savings and payback before discussing CAPEX.
• Handle objections, competitor comparisons and technical questions with confidence and honesty.
• Negotiate and close within price and margin limits approved by the Commercial Manager.
• Secure signed contracts and deposits, then hand over cleanly to Operations.
• Hand opportunities above R10m to the Senior Business Developer while retaining source credit.
• Identify recurring-service opportunities such as SLA, O&M, monitoring, cleaning and future expansion.
• Update the CRM the same or next day and submit accurate pipeline forecasts.
• Complete roughly ten meaningful field visits a week where geography allows and keeps every client's promise.
