About the Role Our client, an innovative e-commerce business, is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Social Media Content Creator to join their team, initially on a contractor basis. While this role is fully remote, the focus will be on developing engaging content for our client's online presence, targeting audiences interested in their product offerings. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, has a knack for visual storytelling, and understands how to create content that captures attention and drives engagement. You will be responsible for generating a variety of content formats, including graphics, short videos, and compelling copy, for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Key Responsibilities

• Create visually appealing and engaging content for various social media platforms, including graphics, short videos, Reels, and Stories.
• Write compelling and on-brand captions and copy for social media posts that encourage interaction and drive traffic.
• Assist in developing content ideas and a content calendar in line with marketing objectives and brand voice.
• Source and edit images and videos to ensure they meet quality and brand standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, content formats, and creative techniques.
• Monitor social media channels for engagement on created content and assist in responding to comments and messages.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign goals and tailor content accordingly.
• Resize and adapt content for different platform specifications and aspect ratios.
• Research relevant hashtags and trending topics to increase content visibility.
• Maintain an organized library of content assets.

Requirements

• Proven experience or a strong portfolio showcasing social media content creation skills.
• Proficiency with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Excellent understanding of visual aesthetics and copywriting for social media.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) and their content requirements.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in written English.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and experiment with new ideas.
• Passion for e-commerce and digital marketing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree or relevant coursework is a plus.
