Job summary
HotelJobs in Franschhoek, Western Cape, invites a polished Junior Restaurant Manager to join a Michelin-style, premium dining team serving up to 140 guests during weddings and tasting experiences. You will assist in daily operations and support senior management in service excellence.
The ideal candidate has hospitality experience in fine-dining, strong leadership, and a commitment to guest experiences; evening and weekend work is required; live-out position with start ASAP.
Qualifications
- Assist daily restaurant operations, opening/closing procedures.
- Supervise front-of-house staff during service and events.
- Maintain Michelin-style presentation and premium service standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen, beverage and events teams for seamless service.
- Experience in fine-dining or luxury hospitality preferred.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- A hospitality qualification is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior management with daily restaurant operations.
- Welcome guests professionally and resolve concerns promptly.
- Support stock control and cash-up procedures.
- Train front-of-house staff in service sequences.
- Schedule reservations and guest flow for up to 140 guests.
