Job summary

Company is seeking two dedicated, self-motivated, andresults-driven UHT Junior Production Supervisors to join our Production Team inHumansdorp. Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidates will be responsible for managingthe UHT production facility during shift operations, ensuring that dailyproduction targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and operationalobjectives are consistently achieved. Responsibilities include maintaining highhousekeeping standards on production lines, minimizing production losses,monitoring the correct usage of cleaning chemicals, conducting on-line qualityinspections, and ensuring machinery and equipment are maintained to requiredstandards.

The role requires effective communication with managementand production teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, accountability,and teamwork. Additional responsibilities include workforce administration,timesheet management, report writing, updating production performance charts,enforcing health and safety regulations, ensuring correct PPE usage, attendingmaintenance meetings, optimizing labour utilization, and maintainingcleanliness and organization across production, rework, and yard areas.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Matric Certificate andhave successfully completed a Supervisory Course, together with 2 to 3 years ofsupervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment. Knowledge of dairymanufacturing processes, systems, and equipment will be advantageous.
