Job summary

Profile Personnel Ltd is seeking two self-motivated Junior Production Supervisors to join the production team in a dairy-focused food manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes quality, safety, team leadership and continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning production oversight and performance reporting.

Ideal candidates will have matric and a supervisory course, plus 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing setting. Dairy process knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of dairy manufacturing processes, systems and equipment will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee UHT production operations during shift to meet targets and quality standards.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and minimise production losses.
• Conduct on-line quality inspections and monitor the correct use of cleaning chemicals.
• Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained to the required standards.
• Promote compliance with health and safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
• Manage workforce administration, timesheets, labour utilisation and production reporting.
• Update production performance charts and communicate operational performance to management.
• Attend maintenance meetings and support effective coordination between production and maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation across production, rework and yard areas.
• Encourage teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement within the production team.
