Job summary

Power Group in South Africa is seeking a Junior Plant Hire Manager to support the Plant Hire Manager with day-to-day coordination of plant, operators and drivers across projects. The role provides exposure to plant logistics, resource allocation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing plant, operators and driver logistics within a construction environment.
• Experience coordinating plant allocation and transport logistics across multiple sites.
• Grade 12 or equivalent and relevant logistics/supervision training.
• Code EC driver's licence is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate deployment of plant, operators and drivers across project sites.
• Monitor licences, certifications and compliance for personnel.
• Schedule maintenance and ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Maintain records and prepare utilisation and reports for stakeholders.
