Job summary

Mr Price Group is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Payroll Administrator to join the Payroll team for a 3-month fixed term contract in Durban. You will onboard store associates, export data to Oracle, and ensure payroll data accuracy and deadlines.

The role involves handling payroll queries, maintaining Masterfile records, and producing payroll reports in a fast-paced environment. NSC Matric and 1–2 years payroll experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• NSC Matric Certificate.
• 1 to 2 years payroll administration experience will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new store associates by exporting employee data from workflow systems to Oracle.
• Capture and process payroll-related information accurately and within payroll deadlines.
• Maintain payroll Masterfile records and conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain payroll-related reports.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of payroll data within your area of responsibility.
• Respond to telephonic payroll queries from associates and provide timely resolutions.
• Liaise with stores and associates to clarify payroll-related information and discrepancies.
• Support payroll processes in accordance with company policies and procedures.
