Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking an L2 Network Engineer to support and maintain the organization's network infrastructure.

You will gain hands-on experience with network devices, monitoring tools, security technologies, and enterprise IT environments while working with senior engineers to ensure availability and performance. Responsibilities include monitoring, installation and maintenance of devices, VPNs, firewall management, and contributing to documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven networking knowledge with WAN/LAN, routing, switching, and security fundamentals.
• Relevant IT or network support experience; 5–10 years preferred.
• Certifications such as CCNA, Huawei, or CompTIA Network+ are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and availability using management tools.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of routers, switches, WLAN, and firewalls.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve connectivity issues.
• Escalate complex incidents to senior engineers when required.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting procedures.
