Job summary

Managed People Solutions seeks a Junior Merchandiser Intern based in Hermanus, Cape Town. The position offers a monthly stipend of R3500 and a contract duration of 12 to 18 months, depending on qualifications.

As an intern, you will determine stock needs, ensure availability in-store, and maintain product quality. Ideal candidates are under 28, currently unemployed, and must hold either an NCV Level 4 or an N6 Certificate in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

• Determine stock that needs to be merchandised.
• Ensure the correct stock is available in-store.
• Check product quality, rotation, and pricing.
• Set up products according to company merchandising standards.
• Report customer issues and requests.
• Maintain accurate merchandising records.
• Monitor and report out-of-stock items to management.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and promotions.
• Execute store calls according to the call cycle.
• Advise the Regional Sales Manager on out-of-stock products.

• Location: Hermanus, Cape Town
• Stipend: R3500 per month
• Contract Duration: TVET N6: 18 months / NCV Level 4: 12 months
• Working Hours: 9 hours per day (including lunch)
