Placements24 is seeking a Junior Legal Associate in Centurion to join a traditional law practice. You will assist senior attorneys with case preparation, legal research, and client communication in an office-based setting, gaining hands-on experience across disciplines.

Qualifications

Admitted Attorney with LL.B. degree.
0-3 years post-qualification experience.
Strong legal research methodologies and sources.
Excellent drafting and writing skills.
High level of attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in legal software and standard office applications.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on assigned cases and legal issues.
Assist in drafting pleadings, affidavits, and other legal documents under supervision.
Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is organized, accurate, and up-to-date.
Communicate with clients, courts, and other parties as directed by senior legal staff.
Attend court proceedings, client meetings, and other legal events as required.
Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling and correspondence.
