Qualifications

• RE5 qualification is essential.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
• Previous insurance or underwriting experience is advantageous.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Computer literate and comfortable working with spreadsheets and insurance systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assessing and underwriting new and existing insurance risks.
• Process policy applications, endorsements, renewals, and related documentation.
• Review client information and supporting documents.
• Capture and maintain accurate policy and client information.
• Assist senior underwriters with day-to-day underwriting activities.
• Communicate with brokers, clients, and internal departments.
• Ensure underwriting procedures and company guidelines are followed.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
