Responsibilities

• Complete reconciliations between the operations system and financial system.
• Prepare month end journals for revenue recognition, expenses, and fund provisions.
• Analyze fund transactions, identify discrepancies and provide insights.
• Prepare month end journals for funds transactions.
• Complete reconciliations of funds between systems within deadlines and rectify errors.
• Identify and correct system and human errors between the two systems.
• Calculate monthly P&L on terminated plans.
• Collaborate with BI, Policy Admin, Creditors and Debtors teams and act accordingly.
• Ensure data integrity by checking data validity.
• Work with actuarial team to align actuarial reports with financials.
• Prepare JV calculations and management accounts and ensure pay-outs per agreement.
• Interpret and explain trends and discrepancies.
