Network Finance seeks a Junior Financial Manager in a respected coal mining company with turnover exceeding R102 million. You will oversee the financial management of four entities, ensuring accurate reporting, treasury management, and group consolidations, with stock analysis responsibilities.

The role offers strategic finance exposure and operational involvement, working with senior leadership to enhance profitability and drive growth within the mining sector.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification is non-negotiable.
• Minimum 8 years' post-articles finance experience.
• Experience in coal mining industry.
• Experience with financial reporting, treasury and group consolidations.
• Experience managing multiple legal entities.
• Exposure to inventory analysis within a mining environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage treasury, cash flow and working capital requirements.
• Perform group consolidations across four entities.
• Conduct detailed inventory analysis and stock reconciliations.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and statutory reporting.
• Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Drive financial controls, governance and process improvements.
• Partner with operational teams to improve profitability and financial performance.
